Choose the page that matches your problem
How to choose where to start
Start with the source. If water came from a supply line, read the burst pipe page. If it came through the floor with no visible cause, go to slab leaks. If it came from outside, go to storm cleanup, and if it came up through a drain, go straight to sewage backups, because that water carries different safety rules.
Whatever the source, the middle of the job is the same: remove the water, dry the structure and prove it is dry with readings. The extraction and drying page explains that shared core, while the others cover what is particular to each cause.
Every contractor you reach through this site is independent, so ask the questions on these pages directly. The answers should be specific to your house.
What every page has in common
Each service page follows the same order: why the problem happens here, what to do first, how the work is done, what you can handle safely and what to ask. Local details come from public sources, and you will find them listed at the bottom. Read as much or as little as you need.
